The decision of Andre Taulany and Erin to part ways amicably came through a fairly long and intensive mediation process. Malik Bawazier, Erin's legal counsel, acted as a communication bridge between the two until a best solution was reached.
Malik recounted that his role began after Erin returned from a trip to London. From that meeting, the mediation process started outside of formal court proceedings to find the best middle ground for their family.

"If there are questions perhaps, why has this only happened now? The honest answer is because of my presence," said Malik in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (29/10/2025).
He explained that this mediation process involves a series of separate meetings with each party to understand their wishes and discuss solutions to each issue at hand, especially those related to the legal consequences of the divorce.
"I conducted mediation outside the courtroom through partial meetings. I had partial meetings with Andre maybe about five times, and then I also had partial meetings with Erin approximately 6-7 times," he revealed.
The hard work in the mediation process finally yielded positive results. Andre Taulany openly appreciated Malik's assistance in facilitating their communication.
"Yes, but regardless of that, I also want to thank Bang Malik for being able to mediate between the two of us. What he has conveyed earlier was quite detailed and represents everything," said Andre.
The statement of agreement for divorce has also been officially signed by both parties on October 28th.
The divorce agreement between Andre and Erin is hoped to bring wisdom for a better future in their lives.
