Family Acknowledges Bedu and Anggi Often Argue Since 2016

Kapanlagi.com - The divorce trial between comedian Harabdu Tohar or Bedu and Irma Kartika Anggraini or Anggi continued at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Tuesday (28/10). From the trial, it was revealed that Bedu and Anggi have often argued for a long time.

This was conveyed by Alit, Anggi's brother-in-law who was presented as a witness. According to Alit's testimony, the arguments between Bedu and his wife have been ongoing since 2016.

"Yeah, I was definitely surprised, but not too surprised, because there have often been cases like this. Since around 2016, from the early days of their marriage, there have been arguments, but they were just normal arguments. But now it seems like it can't be helped anymore," said Alit.

1. Prolonged Incompatibility

Nevertheless, Alit emphasized that the decision to divorce was not due to a major argument or serious personal issues, but rather because of prolonged incompatibility.

"Oh, there’s no problem. Basically, it’s just that both of them are no longer compatible," he continued.

2. No Longer Aligned

Bedu's attorney, Dendy Finsa, confirmed that differing visions and life perspectives were the main reasons for the divorce.

"Their visions are no longer the same, but the relationship between the petitioner, our client Bedu, and his wife is still good. Disputes have indeed been ongoing, and after several reconciliations by the family, the best decision for them is to separate," said Dendy.

3. Communication Remains Good

In this session, the two witnesses presented actually come from Anggi's side. According to Dendy, this is evidence that even though both have agreed to separate, their communication and relationship remain good.

"We, from the petitioner's side, present two witnesses, namely the mother and father who are the siblings of the respondent," he explained

4. Unity for the Children

Citra, Anggi's sister who also became a witness, mentioned that their relationship remains good for the sake of the children.

"From my personal view, I see Bedu and his wife still have a good relationship, because there are still children involved. The only goal is the children for Bedu. As for reuniting, that's no longer the case," said Citra.

5. Attempts to Reconcile

The extended families from both sides have repeatedly tried to reconcile this couple, but the result remains the same.

"Almost every time we come here, we have tried to mediate, but both of them are already good, both of them are really good," Alit said again.

6. Next Agenda Reading of the Verdict

The next hearing is scheduled for November 3 with the agenda of reading the verdict.

"On the 3rd, the verdict will be announced. Whether the request is accepted or not," said Dendy.

7. Fifteen Years of Marriage

Bedu married Irma Kartika Anggreani on February 7, 2010. They have three children, consisting of two boys and one girl. In 2025, Bedu and Irma agreed to divorce amicably after 15 years of marriage and will continue to co-parent their three children together.
