Sad news comes from musician Anji. His mother, Siti Sundari, passed away on Thursday (26/3/2026). This news was first conveyed by Anji's biological brother.
Anji also uploaded a photo with the remains along with a thank you for the condolences he received. Here is a moment of Anji with the deceased!
"Innalillahi wa innaillaihi rojiun. My beloved mother, Siti Sundari binti Mitrodihardjo, has returned to Allah on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 20:03 WIB," wrote Erie Prasetyo, Anji's brother, in his Instagram post.
Anji and his siblings were indeed close to the late mother. It's no surprise that he feels a deep loss even though he has accepted the passing of his beloved mother forever.
Anji also wrote about his last moments with his mother. "Mama passed away right in my lap. I accept it. Farewell, dear Mama @sundarihartiyo," Anji wrote.
Condolences were expressed by celebrity friends and netizens alike. Anji himself also apologized for not being able to respond to each one personally.
"Thank you to everyone who expressed their condolences. Mama requested to be taken to Bekasi. I'm wearing the bracelet that Mama always wore," Anji said in a post accompanying the deceased in the ambulance.
The deceased was buried on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 08:00 WIB at TPU Mangun Jawa, Bekasi Regency, West Java.
Farewell to Mrs. Siti Sundari, may the deeds of the deceased be accepted by Allah SWT. May the family left behind be given strength and patience.
