Appearing on TV After Attempting Suicide, Ayu Aulia Admits to Receiving Outpatient Treatment for Four Years

Three days after the suicide attempt, Ayu appeared on television as a guest on a program. She admitted that she accepted the invitation to clarify the conflicting news.

"Actually, I'm not allowed to go out with my mom, but because there is an invitation and I have to clarify the news that is circulating everywhere, so I just went out. Take care," said Ayu when met in the Kapten Tendean area, South Jakarta, Friday (25/2/2022).

1. Four Years of Outpatient Treatment

Ayu Aulia admitted that she has been receiving outpatient treatment for her mental health for the past four years. Her condition worsened yesterday because she had stopped receiving treatment.

"I have been receiving outpatient treatment for four years. But because I stopped when I was in America, maybe it relapsed again," said the woman who is now trying to wear a hijab.

2. Natural Triggers of Mental Health

Ayu Aulia said that the trigger for her mental issues occurred a few years ago. She discovered it after becoming a victim of bullying by her friends.

"The trigger was being bullied by friends around 2017-2018. I was cornered, blamed, and felt the most alone," said the woman who was previously known as a sexy model.

3. Want to Look Happy

Ayu Aulia admits to being good at appearing fine in front of her loved ones. However, when she is alone in her room, she often feels sad and thinks about many things.

"I'm the kind of person who likes to hide my feelings. So when I go out with friends, I want to appear happy, with positive vibes. But when I'm alone in my room, I feel sad. I don't know what I'm sad about. For example, if there's one problem, I start overthinking," she explained.

4. Cutting Her Hand and Taking Medication

As previously reported, Ayu Aulia was rushed to RS Abdi Waluyo Hospital in Central Jakarta on Tuesday evening (22/2/2022). The cause was because the woman attempted suicide by cutting her wrist and taking several pills.

Fortunately, Ayu's assistant who was in the apartment noticed this strangeness. So she quickly provided assistance and took her to the nearest hospital.
