Ari Lasso has been getting upset lately over the increasingly complicated issue of music royalties. Not staying silent, Ari Lasso speaks up about the lack of transparency so far.

Ari Lasso even invites musicians, event organizers, artist management, promoters, cafe owners, karaoke, restaurants, bars, or owners of other music-related businesses to agree to the Petition for WAMI Audit.

Not without reason, this father of five is upset because WAMI seems to be evasive and difficult to contact.

He openly uploaded the contents of a conversation with WAMI, which has not responded to his complaints. Ari Lasso even suggested pooling funds to hire an independent auditing agency.

But not only demanding his right to be heard and responded to by WAMI, Ari Lasso also showed evidence that he has fulfilled his obligation to pay royalties.

The man born in Madiun showed proof of payment that has been made by his own EO/agency. And he claimed to always fulfill his obligations.

"Attached above are the billing proof and payment proof along with the certificate. Thank you," said Ari Lasso in his post caption.

"So don't think that I am only claiming my RIGHTS, but I have also fulfilled my obligations as a stakeholder in the industry that uses music as one of the elements in our activities," he emphasized again.
