Ari Lasso Suffers from Rare Stage 2 Cancer, Here are the Pictures During Treatment - Will Undergo Chemotherapy and Cannot Meet People

In a podcast with Deddy Corbuzier, Ari Lasso announced that he is suffering from a rare form of cancer. He was diagnosed with Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), a cancer that occurs in 2 out of 4000 lymphoma cases.

Usually, lymphoma cancer attacks the lymph glands in the neck and under the armpit. However, Ari's cancer is attached to the spleen and is now in stage 2.

The cancer was detected after Ari experienced severe stomach pain. He then underwent a CT scan and subsequent surgery. It was found that his cancer was larger than his spleen and aggressive in nature, but it can be cured.

Ari Lasso was hospitalized in early August due to severe stomach pain. From the doctor's examination, it is suspected that he has a tumor in his spleen.

However, after the surgery, it was found that Ari had spleen cancer. The size is very large and it has now entered stage 2.

Due to the cancer, Ari's spleen had to be removed. The effect is that he no longer has an immune system and his body easily gets fever and pain.

The process of removing Ari's spleen was quite tense. In the middle of the laparoscopy process, Ari unexpectedly lost a lot of blood and had to undergo a major surgery. The doctor had to urgently search for blood for this 48-year-old singer.

After his spleen was removed, Ari no longer has an immune system. That's why he is prohibited from meeting other people. Ari only left the house when he became a guest on Deddy Corbuzier's podcast and he wore a double mask.

Although his spleen has been removed, Ari is still not free from cancer. He still has to undergo chemotherapy and it is planned to be done for 3 months in Singapore.

Ari explained that the cancer he is suffering from can be cured. That's why he asks for prayers to recover soon. But for now, he cannot meet anyone other than his family.

Ari admits that he is afraid of going bald due to the side effects of chemotherapy. He asked his wife to find the best wig and plans to wear long hair like in the early days of his career in Dewa19. Get well soon, Ari!
