Arie Untung Throws Away All Branded Goods from Dior to Givenchy to the Floor

Kapanlagi.com - Former presenter who has now converted, Arie Untung also condemns the actions of French President, Emmanuel Macron. Starting from the controversy of the cartoon of Prophet Muhammad SAW, the actions of the French President are considered to have insulted Islam.

As a form of protest, Arie Untung threw away all of his branded goods. In a photo, bags and shoes from brands like Dior and Givenchy are seen placed on the floor.

"Not worthy! Have patience, friends, these trials never seem to end. Because their country insulted my prophet in the month of his birth, these cheap French brand items are not worthy to be in the closet of someone who loves their prophet so much," wrote Arie Untung, as quoted from his Instagram account (28/10).

1. The Lowest Caste

Not stopping there, Arie Untung also assessed that the brand now occupies the lowest caste in his wardrobe. Therefore, he admitted that he will not use any products from that brand anymore.

"While my statement is like this, we will not use these products, no matter the price. It is not worth it compared to my pride, so insulting. Just a reminder, this is about the policy of the country, not the people. It's only about the leader, not all French people agree with their president," he continued.

2. Reasons Why Arie Untung Gets Rid of Bags

Not without reason, apparently Fenita's husband has his own intention for putting all his bags on the floor. According to Arie, with the action he took, there will be an economic impact felt by President Emmanuel Macron.

"It's not the fault of these bags, but so that he knows the economic impact caused by this insult. In the Muslim market, the value of French brands immediately becomes 'cheap'. It's like there's nothing else more important or beneficial to discuss," Arie Untung concluded.
