As a Father, Billy Syahputra Admits He Is Now More Careful in Living Life

The presence of the first child brings many changes in Billy Syahputra's life. The 35-year-old presenter and comedian admits that he now has a different perspective on work, personal life, and his image in the entertainment world.

Billy stated that his status as a husband and father makes him feel a much greater responsibility than before. He also starts to think about his child's future, including how his little one will view his digital footprint.

This change has been felt by Billy after nearly nine months of taking on the role of a parent alongside his wife, Vika Kolesnaya. According to him, being a father makes him more careful in his actions.

"Definitely. Before having a child, I only had to be responsible to someone, mostly to my family. Now I have a wife and a child," said Billy Syahputra when met by KapanLagi in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, Saturday (27/6/2026).

The Jakarta-born man admits he is now more motivated in his work. In addition, he also tries to maintain his behavior and image as a public figure.

 "The biggest difference is being more responsible for everything. More enthusiastic in seeking sustenance, and it can also be said that I am more cautious... in a way, maintaining an image in the entertainment world," he continued.

Billy does not deny that during his single days, he often became the center of attention due to various controversies and romantic stories. However, now he chooses to lead a quieter life.

"Because in the past, it was like being reckless in many ways. Now, I have to be more careful because my child will eventually grow up and when they do, they will see what their father's digital footprint is like," he said.

Meanwhile, Vika also sees a change in her husband after getting married and having a child. According to the Belarusian woman, Billy has now become a more protective figure. "More protective, perhaps," Vika said briefly.

Billy then explained that another change he felt is that he is now more relaxed in living his daily life, especially after getting married.

"So I am more relaxed now. Guys, when they want to approach a girl, they usually have to look good, right? But once you're husband and wife, you can just be relaxed, you know," Billy said while laughing.

However, one thing is for sure, Billy admits that he is now trying to be a better person for the small family he has built with Vika and their child.
