Ashanty Responds to the Call from Jakarta Metro Police Regarding Allegations of Defamation

Kapanlagi.com - The beautiful artist Ashanty visited Jakarta Metro Police on Friday afternoon (4/2/2022). The wife of Anang Hermansyah responded to the police summons regarding allegations of defamation that she reported in 2019.

Ashanty arrived at the Jakarta Metro Police Direskrimsus Building at 13:45 WIB. Getting out of the car, Ashanty did not explain in detail about her visit to Jakarta Metro Police. 

"The agenda is called because my report, Alhamdulillah, has been entered since that time. And Alhamdulillah, they said there will be good news for me today," said Ashanty at Jakarta Metro Police on Friday (2/2/2022).

1. There Has Been a Suspect Determination

Ashanty mentioned that the alleged defamation case has been developed by the police. She even said that there may have been a suspect determination against the defendant in her report.

"The report yesterday, you know, the long-standing defamation case, God willing, they said it has become a suspect," she said.

2. Breach of Contract Case

Previously, Ashanty had a legal issue regarding a breach of contract case. She was sued by her business partner, Director of Aesthetic Care, Martin Pratiwi, for alleged breach of contract in their collaboration. Not only that, Martin also filed a report against Ashanty at the Jakarta Metro Police.

However, the investigation process of that report was stopped at the preliminary stage. To deal with the lawsuit and report, Ashanty had to exert some of her energy. She felt that her reputation was tarnished through various news reports from the other party. Ashanty finally filed a report against her business partner's actions back in 2019.

3. Previously Tested Positive for Covid

Previously, this mother of three children was also exposed to the Omicron variant of Covid-19 after returning from Turkey. As someone who has been infected with Covid-19 twice and has an underlying condition, Ashanty also didn't want to get infected again. But fate had other plans, and she ended up getting infected again.

"I'm not asking for understanding, but I also don't really want to get infected, no one does," she concluded.

4. Initially Shocked

Ashanty doesn't deny that she was initially shocked when she found out that she was infected with the Covid-19 virus for the second time. But she is grateful that she didn't have any symptoms and has now recovered as usual.

"I was definitely a little shocked, like why didn't I feel anything, maybe I haven't felt it yet. I thought maybe on the third or fourth day. But at that time, if I wanted to request another PCR test, they said that only the PCR test at the airport and the one at the isolation facility are recognized by the government. So in my heart, if it's not recognized, then I'll just follow along," she concluded.

Because of this, Ashanty was criticized by netizens on social media for being exposed to the Covid-19 virus again. Knowing this, the mother of four responded calmly.

"It's okay, that's life, so I feel like it's okay," said Ashanty when met in the Pondok Indah area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (19/1).
