Asked About Household and Fairuz A Rafiq's Past, Sonny Septian: Women Have Always Been the Victims

"Actually, when I decided to be with Fairuz, I didn't want to know her background, what her story was like, I had to find out for myself because I saw the case right in front of me," Sonny Septian said.

"Only then did I study all about this, because it had to be learned, we need to know what action to take in the future, it turns out that for years these things have been happening to her, but I just ignored it and finally decided that I couldn't ignore it anymore, I had to take action, study the case, study what needs to be done," he continued.

Sonny Septian believes that there is no husband who wants to see his wife sad or even fall ill because of her sadness. Therefore, the role of a husband is very important as a support system for the wife so that she does not feel alone when facing problems.

"Seeing Fairuz experiencing so much, her emotions are like a roller coaster, up and down, happy, sad, and joyful. Sometimes suddenly happy and then seeing something like this makes her drop again, until she gets sick and has to go to the hospital. Actually, for a husband, anywhere, they definitely don't want to see their beloved wife, the person they love, continuously immersed in such a situation," he said.

"What is certain is always being a support system for everyone who experiences pain in their life, that is the most important thing," he added.

2. Always Becoming the Victim

In addition, he also believes that women have always been victims of a man's behavior. Whereas a man should be a protector for his partner and family.

"During this time, women have always been victims while men have always been perpetrators. There have been many cases like that, but there are also men out there who protect women, there are things that need to be done to solve a problem. So, Fairuz and I are learning together, taking care of each other, loving each other. That's what should always be done in every household. That's why I'm very happy when Fairuz wrote this, being brave to act and speak up. I also said, 'My family and I will always support you'," he concluded.
