Asserting No Involvement, Billy Syahputra Reveals the Beginning of His Closeness to the DNA Pro Boss

Kapanlagi.com - Presenter Billy Syahputra responded to an invitation from the Bareskrim Mabes Polri investigator regarding allegations of receiving money from DNA Pro's robot trading activities. The examination itself lasted about four hours with 17 questions.

The former boyfriend of Amanda Manopo was accompanied by his lawyer, Fahmi Bachmid, during the examination. Billy was asked about transactions conducted with the DNA Pro boss.

"Billy was questioned because he once sold a car to a suspect named Steven," said Fahmi Bachmid when met at Bareskrim Mabes Polri, South Jakarta, Thursday (28/4).

1. Transaction of 1 Billion

Regarding the sale and purchase transaction of a car worth IDR 1 billion between Billy Syahputra and Stefanus Richard or Steven Abe, Fahmi Bachmid said that it happened at the end of 2021.

"So, it started from a post on social media, where Billy stated that he would sell his Alphard car. Then, the suspect contacted Billy and the sale and purchase transaction took place," said Fahmi Bachmid.

2. Just a Sale and Purchase

Therefore, the relationship between his client and Stefanus Richard was confirmed by Fahmi Bachmid to be just a matter of buying and selling vehicles. There is no other relationship between the presenter and the DNA Pro boss.

"Billy has no connection to the suspect's business problems. So, he doesn't have any members or anything, there is no connection at all," concluded Fahmi Bachmid.

3. DNA Pro Case

As it is known, 122 people who claimed to be victims of the DNA Pro robot trading platform reported to Bareskrim Polri on Monday, March 28, 2022.

The report is registered with number B/185/IV/RES.2.1/2022/Dittipideksus for the alleged fraud case disguised as DNA Pro binary option trading.

4. Loss of 97 Billion

A total of 56 people, ranging from founders to commissioners of DNA Pro, have been reported to the police. From the case, the police estimated that the temporary losses suffered by the victims amounted to IDR 97 billion.

Meanwhile, the police have already designated 12 suspects in the case of alleged fraud via DNA Pro trading robots, including Stefanus Richard.
