Senior comedian Haji Bolot is currently undergoing intensive care at Fatmawati Hospital in South Jakarta. The person named Muhammad Sulaeman Harsono was rushed to the hospital after experiencing a sudden heart attack.
Haji Bolot's assistant, Wahyu Ramadhan, explained that the artist's condition is gradually improving. Although still in a special care room, Haji Bolot is said to be in the recovery phase.
"Thank God, his condition is currently stable, he is in the recovery phase. Yes, please pray that he gets well soon and quickly leaves the hospital," said Wahyu Ramadhan when met at Fatmawati Hospital, South Jakarta, Thursday (11/6/2026).
Wahyu confirmed that Haji Bolot must be placed in the ICCU room. This is done because the procedure for handling heart patients at the hospital requires the recovery period to take place in that room for optimal monitoring.
"Right now, Alhamdulillah, everything is stable, just the recovery left. But the recovery is indeed in the ICCU room," said Wahyu.
Previously, Haji Bolot was taken to a hospital in the Bintaro area on May 28. However, due to limited medical equipment, the family decided to refer him to RS Fatmawati for more comprehensive treatment.
Until now, Haji Bolot has been undergoing treatment for 12 days. Although he is in the ICCU room, the assistant emphasized that Baba's condition remains conscious and not in critical condition. "Oh no, no. He was even joking around a bit," explained Wahyu.
The medical team has not yet provided certainty regarding the return schedule of Haji Bolot. The main focus right now is to ensure that the comedian's heart stabilizes before he is allowed to return home.
"Just ask for the best prayers, pray that Baba gets well soon," concluded Wahyu.
