Astrid Kuya Reveals Her Last Memories With Her Father-in-law, Mentions the Deceased Had a Heart Attack While in the US

Astrid Khairunnisa, affectionately known as Astrid Kuya, the wife of Uya Kuya, shares about her last moments with her father-in-law who has just passed away. As is known, her father-in-law, Naraya Sutrasno, passed away on Wednesday (30/10/2024).

It still feels so close, Astrid reminisces about the moments of family togetherness, which turned out to be their final meeting. Just yesterday, Astrid and her family had a lunch gathering at home. Considering the deceased's old age, the family chose to gather at home for more comfort.

"The last moment yesterday we just had lunch together. But he was already old, so going anywhere was tiring," said Astrid Kuya at the mourning house, Duren Sawit area, East Jakarta, Wednesday (30/10/2024).

Astrid added that the presence of the children for a meal together at home is a form of their attention so that the deceased feels comfortable. "So we, the children, brought food to the house yesterday, had lunch together," she revealed.

Today was supposed to be her father-in-law's schedule for a health check at the hospital. However, fate had other plans. "So it just so happened that dad was supposed to be scheduled for the hospital. He was leaving with his brother, and suddenly, oh God, he was called," said Astrid.

Astrid remembered how her father-in-law had a heart attack while in the United States (US) some time ago. Although his condition had improved after treatment, Astrid did not expect that the deceased would be called home earlier than anticipated.

"Indeed, he had a heart attack while in America. But he was fine, he had returned to Indonesia. We thought he was okay, but he had been complaining of pain as well. That's why today he was supposed to go to the hospital," explained Astrid.

The condition of the deceased, who often complained of pain, made the family pay more attention to his health. Therefore, a hospital check-up was planned for today, but fate called him home earlier. Astrid also shared that her older sister was the last to accompany the deceased in his final days.

"I can't believe it. Just yesterday from America, we thought he was healthy. Just yesterday the family had lunch together. So it was sudden. The one who accompanied dad on his last day was my older sibling at the hospital. So we got the news from my sibling," concluded Astrid Kuya.

The body of her father-in-law was buried at Al Azhar Memorial Park, East Karawang. The ambulance procession left the funeral home around 3:30 PM WIB.
