Atiqah Hasiholan Clarifies Inheritance Case: No Embezzlement!

Kapanlagi.com - Actress Atiqah Hasiholan underwent an 8.5-hour examination at the Criminal Investigation Agency of the National Police regarding the embezzlement lawsuit aimed at her mother, Ratna Sarumpaet. The lawsuit was filed by her nephew, Husin Kamal, and has become a topic of public interest.

"This case has actually been ongoing since 2012. In 2024, it was brought to the police, so, surprise or not surprise," said Atiqah Hasiholan after the examination on Tuesday (24/12/2024).

Atiqah explained that the distribution of her father's inheritance, who passed away in 2007, had actually been completed more than a decade ago. According to her, the process was resolved fairly.

"In 2012, peace was finally achieved after a long and exhausting journey," Atiqah recalled the lengthy process of settling the inheritance.

1. Without Family's Knowledge

However, Atiqah revealed that problems arose when Husin Kamal's mother, Atiqah, secretly filed a lawsuit in the District Court the same year. The lawsuit, according to Atiqah, was filed without the family's knowledge.

"After it was established, Atiqah's mother secretly and without my brother's permission, filed a lawsuit in the district court, all of which has evidence," said Atiqah Hasiholan, expressing her astonishment at the action.

2. Feeling Strange

Atiqah also feels strange because Husin Kamal is questioning the inheritance of his father, Muhammad Iqbal, who is still alive. She emphasized that there is no reason to sue for assets that have not yet become inheritance.

"His father is still alive. His father is still alive, hasn't passed away yet. Alhamdulillah. Why does he have to question that?" asked Atiqah with a confused tone.

She assured that the property belonging to Muhammad Iqbal, which consists of land and several other assets, is still managed by the family. For information, Muhammad Iqbal suffers from schizophrenia, so the management of his assets has been taken over by Ratna Sarumpaet as his guardian and custodian.

"The assets are still there. They are still being managed," clarified Atiqah. She added that the assets remain intact and will be used according to the family's needs.

3. Unfounded Allegations

Atiqah emphasized that neither she nor her mother had any intention to seize Muhammad Iqbal's assets. She feels that the accusations directed at her family are unfounded.

"Muhammad Iqbal's assets, my brother, are mostly in the form of land. There might be 2 or 3 items outside of land," Atiqah concluded with a firm explanation.
