"We plan to have the akad first, and the reception after Eid. Because if we squeeze everything, it will be very close to fasting. Let's take it easy for now, the important thing is the akad first," said Aurel, met in the Pondok Indah area, South Jakarta, on Friday night (12/2/2021)

"Because if we think about when the reception will be, it will keep getting postponed. At least we will have the akad first, because we have been engaged for almost a year," added Atta on the same occasion.

1. After Eid

The wedding reception of Atta Halilintar and Aurel Hermansyah is planned to be held after Eid. The event will be divided into different concepts to fulfill personal and family desires.

"The akad will be in Javanese tradition, while the reception will be different. Because Atta is from Padang, we will have a Padang traditional reception, then an international one because Atta requested an event where I wear a hijab, and also because my mother wants to organize an event," said Aurel.

2. There Will Be Three Receptions

"To please everyone. The first reception I want to have a Muslim international theme, then (custom) Padang because I am from Padang, and the third event is organized by my mother. The receptions will be on different days, not three consecutive days, it's also tiring," Atta continued.

3. Dividing Guests into Different Receptions

Considering the pandemic situation, Atta Halilintar and Aurel Hermansyah will hold receptions while implementing health protocols. Therefore, they plan to divide the guests so that they can attend different receptions.

"We will strictly adhere to health protocols for the event. Because it includes Atta's friends, my friends, and our parents' friends, how can we not invite them? But because of the ongoing pandemic, we don't want high expectations. What's important is that our dream comes true. Hopefully, by May, the number of Covid-19 cases will decrease," Aurel said.
