Atta Halilintar Just Two Months into Playing Padel, Admits Addiction and Participates in Tournament

Atta Halilintar's participation in the sport of padel at the Indonesian Celebrity Sports Tournament (TOSI) Season 4 surprised many. This is because the sport is still quite new to him.

Atta openly admits that he has only recently started to pursue padel in the last few months. However, he immediately felt 'addicted' and fell in love with this rising sport.

"Since this year, actually, just. About a month, two months, I think," said Atta Halilintar when met at GOR UNJ, Rawamangun, East Jakarta, on Saturday (1/11/2025).

According to him, padel has a unique appeal that he does not find in other sports, except for football, which has indeed been his hobby for a long time. His enthusiasm for playing padel is even much greater compared to other sports.

"The only sport that people invite me to play besides football, futsal, and mini soccer. For other sports, I'm just not that enthusiastic," he explained.

So much so that Atta claims that padel is a sport that makes him addicted. The sensation while playing always makes him want to return to the court.

"Suddenly when I went to Padel, I immediately got addicted, wanting to play together, and I think that’s one of the sports that makes us addicted to always exercising," he said.

His love for padel is what drives him to bravely participate in a tournament as prestigious as TOSI Season 4, partnering with Harris Vriza.

Although considered a new player, Atta is ready to give his best performance in the match against the team of Raffi Ahmad and Thoriq Halilintar. "I am confident that we will give our best," he said.

Atta's participation also serves as proof of how quickly the popularity of padel is skyrocketing among celebrities in the country. The TOSI Season 4 event itself will begin airing on November 1, 2025, on SCTV.
