Attending the Domestic Violence Case Against Her Own Husband, Cut Intan: I Hope This Case Can Serve as a Deterrent

Kapanlagi.com - Cut Intan attended the first trial of the Domestic Violence (KDRT) case involving her husband, Armor Toreador, at the Cibinong District Court, Bogor, on Monday (28/10/2024).

“Alhamdulillah, we have reached the trial, I hope next week’s trial goes smoothly, as it should,” said Cut Intan at the Cibinong District Court (PN) on Monday (28/10/2024).

Armor, who is the defendant in this case, had previously apologized for his actions before entering the courtroom. However, this apology has not yet been directly conveyed to Cut Intan.

"As for the direct apology, not yet," said Cut Intan.

"That matter (the apology) is a personal preference, yes. But what is certain is that until today, Armor has personally never apologized to Intan," Ana Sofa Yuking added.

Although still carrying wounds, Cut Intan stated that she remains strong in facing this problem by holding firmly to her faith in God. In addition, she always tries to think positively.

"Getting closer to God, yes, all tests and trials will be easier to go through if you get closer to God and think positively," she said.

In addition to focusing on the trial, Cut Intan also hopes that this case can provide lessons for her husband and other perpetrators of violence.

"Yes, hopefully, this case can have a deterrent effect as well. Especially for all the men out there who are still committing violence. Personally, I am now focusing on my happiness with my children as well," said Cut Intan.

When asked about the condition of her children, Cut Intan explained that she limits discussions about this case in front of them.

"There are definitely questions, but I limit myself by not discussing it too much. After all, the children are still underage and it's not appropriate for them to know about this," she said.

Ana Sofa Yuking added that recently Cut Intan took the children to meet Armor, although in the context of visiting and relieving longing, not in an effort at reconciliation.

"Yesterday, Intan did take the children to meet Armor because the children wanted to reunite with their father," Ana explained.

Cut Intan also expressed her desire to end her marriage with Armor soon. After experiencing the bitter ordeal of being a victim of domestic violence, she decided to file for divorce for a better future for herself and her children.
