Audrey Davis Ready to Meet Ex-Boyfriend Who Spread Leaked Video at Trial, David Bayu Ready to Accompany

Kapanlagi.com - The trial of the leaked video case involving Audrey Davis, daughter of musician David Bayu, has been postponed again. The agenda that was supposed to take place on Monday, January 6, 2025, at the South Jakarta District Court, has been rescheduled to Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

On this occasion, David shared about his preparations to accompany Audrey. When asked how he would convince Audrey to meet the defendant, who is her ex-boyfriend and the one who spread the video, David emphasized the importance of inner strength for Audrey.

"Yes, for Audrey's mental preparation, she is the one who needs to strengthen herself; as a parent, I can only support from the outside, she herself must be the one to strengthen," said David.

Nevertheless, David also emphasized the importance of mutual support within the family. "Yes, mutual, it cannot be separated. Family must support each other, that is the most...," he expressed meaningfully.

When asked if Audrey is ready to meet the defendant in court, David Bayu's daughter just nodded without saying much. Her demeanor showed determination to face the ongoing legal process.

2. Legal Counsel Emphasizes Legal Process Will Continue

Meanwhile, Sandy Arifin, Audrey's legal counsel, emphasized that the legal process must be followed no matter what happens.

"Like it or not, we must follow all the processes. So, whatever it is, Mr. David has conveyed that essentially he is ready for the court examination process and indeed must be ready, whether he likes it or not, to meet with (the perpetrator) in court. So please pray for us," Sandy explained.

3. The Beginning of the Case

This case began with the spread of a pornographic video allegedly involving Audrey Davis. The police have arrested two suspects, namely MRS (22) from Pasuruan, East Java, and JE (35) from Padang, West Sumatra.

The two suspects were arrested after tracing and profiling were conducted by the Investigative Team of Unit 5 Subdit IV Cyber Crime Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya on July 29, 2024. Now, both have been detained by Polda Metro Jaya and charged under several articles of the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (ITE) as well as the Pornography Law.

4. Ex-Lover as the Main Suspect

In addition to the two suspects, the police have also named AP, Audrey's ex-lover, as the main suspect. AP is suspected of being both the actor and distributor of the video, motivated by heartache after his relationship with Audrey ended.

David and Audrey can now only hope that this legal process will soon find a clear resolution. With support from family and her legal team, Audrey shows courage to continue her life despite having to go through a difficult trial.
