Azizah Salsha Has Underwent Examination Regarding Her Report Related to Fake News

Kapanlagi.com - Instagram celebrity Azizah Salsha underwent an examination regarding her report about accounts spreading hoaxes and defamation on Friday, August 23, 2024. Azizah's legal counsel, Ega Martadinata, explained that the examination took place at Bareskrim Mabes Polri from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM WIB.

"Azizah has been examined today, her statements were from 4 PM to 8 PM," said Ega Martadinata at Bareskrim Polri, Friday (23/8/2024).

Ega revealed that during the examination, Azizah provided statements explaining various matters related to her report.

"The questions posed to Azizah today were around 20 questions. More or less about her identity, and also which accounts Azizah knows that have tarnished her reputation," he said.

1. Present Two Witnesses

In addition to Azizah, two witnesses who are her close associates were also examined. They provided additional information regarding the reported accounts. The accounts in question come from various social media platforms, such as X, Instagram, and TikTok.

"We are narrowing down or eliminating several accounts, maybe around 10 to 12 accounts," she said.

"Especially the accounts that have quite a few threads. This means they provide feeds to several smaller accounts," she added.

2. ITE Law

For your information, Azizah Salsha reported a case of alleged defamation to the Bareskrim Polri with report number STTL/292/VIII/2024/BARESKRIM on August 21, 2024.

This case is charged under Article 45 Paragraph (4) Jo Article 27A of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 1 of 2024 concerning the Second Amendment to the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE), as well as Articles 310 and 311 of the Criminal Code.
