Although they have been friends since childhood, they have never worked on a project together other than PETUALANGAN SHERINA.

"We're really excited when we found out we're going to start again because we've been friends since we were kids. But we've never had a project together other than Petualangan Sherina 1," said Derby Romero during the 23rd anniversary celebration of PETUALANGAN SHERINA at XXI Lounge Plaza Senayan some time ago.

1. From Playing to Working

Derby Romero feels nostalgic as he gets to shoot again with Sherina Munaf and work with director Riri Riza and producer Mira Lesmana. However, there is a difference between then and now. If 23 years ago they were shooting while playing, this time they are really working.

"On the first day of shooting, it felt magical for me personally, like meeting again after 22 years when we were still kids and it felt like we were just playing every time we were shooting. Now it's work," he said.

"The fun is still the same, working again with Uncle Riri and Aunt Mira is really enjoyable. I'm not just working, but I'm also learning to dig up and find the character. With Sherina, we still discuss every scene together," continued Derby Romero.

2. Unforgettable New Memories

Sherina Munaf also expressed similar feelings, initially not believing that this film project would continue. Many things happened to Sherina Munaf during the shooting of PETUALANGAN SHERINA 2 and they will become unforgettable new memories.

"The feeling that Derby described, I totally agree with it. It's really like we're walking again, right? With Uncle Riri and Aunt Mira with Derby, many things during our shooting made us look back and say 'you were like this back then, and I was like this', and it became new memories that will also be unforgettable," said Sherina Munaf.
