In his joke, Gus Miftah referred to Yati Pesek as a scoundrel. He also expressed his gratitude that Yati Pesek has an ugly face. If her face were beautiful, she might end up being a sex worker, while with an ugly face, she can be a traditional singer.
Yati Pesek responded by stating that Gus Miftah is neither an ustaz nor a kyai. She also mentioned that Gus Miftah used to be infatuated with her. This joke was met with a wide smile from Gus Miftah.
"Now if (Yati Pesek) wants me to take her seriously, I'm afraid I might die first. I could get poisoned; this milk has already expired," Gus Miftah then said.
