Barbie Kumalasari's Name Dragged in Lucinta Luna's Drug Case

Kapanlagi.com - Lucinta Luna still insists on not admitting that the ecstasy found by the police in the apartment trash bin belongs to her. However, in the police report, Lucinta admitted that the ecstasy was hers.

In the police report, Lucinta Luna claimed to have obtained the ecstasy from an unknown woman she met at a nightclub in Senopati, Jakarta. Due to the unpleasant effects of the ecstasy, the singer of Jom Jom Manjalita decided to dispose of it.  

"I lied at that time. I was told to confess. I was forced to sign the report," Lucinta Luna said during the trial at the West Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (29/7/2020) via teleconference.

1. Meet Barbie Kumalasari

The public prosecutor (JPU) who doesn't believe Lucinta's statement asked her to explain how long she stayed in Senopati and who she met.

"I went there with my lover, Abbas. I only came to meet Barbie Kumalasari, after meeting her, I went straight home," Lucinta answered the prosecutor's question.

2. Returning from Bali

After leaving Senopati, Lucinta admitted that she returned to her apartment and went to Bali the next morning. Then on February 11, when she had just returned from Bali, she was arrested by the drug unit of West Jakarta Metro Police.

"After the café, I went home to pack, then I went to the airport, I left early in the morning. On the 11th, after returning from Bali, I was immediately arrested," she explained.

3. Arrested on February 11, 2020

As is known, Lucinta Luna was arrested in her apartment and designated as a suspect of drug abuse by the Narcotics Unit of West Jakarta Metropolitan Police, last February 11th. From the arrest, the police confiscated 2 ecstasy pills and 7 riklona pills as evidence.

In the indictment hearing, Lucinta Luna was charged with Article 112 paragraph (1) or Article 127 paragraph (1) of the Indonesian Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics and Article 60 paragraph (3) or Article 62 of Law Number 5 of 1997 concerning psychotropic substances.
