Beben Jazz Buried with Covid-19 Protocol, Dik Doank Unable to Attend

His younger brother, Dik Doank, stated that he couldn't attend the funeral procession of his beloved brother, Beben Jazz, because he would be buried using the Covid-19 protocol.

"Because it's already the protocol, I can't attend the funeral. It's already the Covid protocol. We can't follow it anymore," said Dik Doank when contacted on Monday (5/7).

Dik Doank received news that his older brother passed away this morning around 06.10 AM. Dik Doank explained that his brother had been undergoing treatment at the hospital for a week due to Covid-19 and had a history of lung disease for a long time.

"Yes, that is his destiny, it must be reminded. Secondly, he had a long-standing lung disease and during this pandemic, the illness worsened and he had difficulty breathing, unable to breathe. And this is the decision from Allah, he has been treated by the Almighty. Yes, it's been about a week (in the hospital)," he said.

Dik Doank always remembers many messages from his beloved brother. One of them is to continue creating amidst this pandemic.

"(The message is) to stay motivated even though there are no audiences during the pandemic, keep creating and creating," Dik Doank concluded.
