Jamal, who is the uncle of the late Jane Shalimar, revealed that she also suffered from asthma, when interviewed by KapanLagi.com reporters on the same day.
"I was informed around half past 6. Previously, when she was about to enter the hospital for the first time, she couldn't find a place yet. She was still fresh, I came to see her, we were still talking. Turns out she had asthma," said Jamal.

Jamal then added that during Jane's treatment, she often needed to use oxygen because she felt uncomfortable. Jamal expressed his sadness because he was the one who took care of Jane since she was a child.
"I was angry at the hospital because she often needed to use oxygen, she didn't like it. After that, she wanted to hug me, but I told her not to. I regret that. Because this child has been with me since she was little. Because I lived with her parents in Rawamangun, so whenever there was something, she always came to me. That's what I regret the most," he said.
In total, the late Jane Shalimar fought against Covid-19 for seven days until she passed away today.
"She fought against Covid for 7 days," said Jamal.

According to Jamal, Muhammad Zarno, the son, had tested positive for the swab. Jamal also mentioned about Zarno's future, which will be taken care of by his father, who is Jane's former husband from her first marriage.
"Zarno tested positive in the swab test, but children are stronger. Now he is negative," Jamal said.
Zarno has his father, so God willing, he will return to his father. Because at home, there are only his sibling, husband, and the little child, Karina is still young. We love him, but the biological parent loves him more, so let's just pray," he concluded.
