The artist who is also a politician, Jane Shalimar, passed away on Sunday (7/4) at around 04:20 AM. Her body was immediately buried at TPU Jeruk Purut, South Jakarta. The deceased was buried in the same grave as her father, Dicky Sadikin. The burial was conducted according to Covid-19 health protocols.

The body arrived at TPU Jeruk Purut at around 10:50 AM. Jane Shalimar's body was in a casket carried by officials.
Before she passed away, Jane Shalimar fought against Covid-19 accompanied by respiratory disease. The funeral procession was conducted following Covid-19 health protocols.
The officers are preparing to place the coffin into the grave. According to Covid-19 protocols, the body must be buried without being taken out of the coffin.
Prayers were offered by several relatives and colleagues of Jane Shalimar who were present at TPU Jeruk Purut.
Several family members and acquaintances of the late Jane Shalimar started to scatter flowers on the grave that hasn't dried up yet.
The child, Muhammad Zarno, initially appeared quite strong. He also attended the funeral prayer before the burial was carried out.Â
Zarno burst into tears as the body merged with the ground. He had to let go of his beloved mother forever.Â
Tears could not be restrained by the only child of the deceased. Zarno tried to stay strong by wiping his tears.Â
Several family members and acquaintances of the deceased who attended the funeral gave support to Zarno.Â
