Been Sick for a Long Time, Mpok Alpa Reveals the Health History of Her Late Father

Mendiang Niman, the father of Mpok Alpa, took his last breath at his home located in the Ciganjur area, South Jakarta. This news certainly shocked Mpok Alpa, causing her to burst into tears upon arriving at the house of mourning.

Although unable to hide the clear sadness on her face, Mpok Alpa still managed to answer some questions from the media. She even explained the medical history of her late father during his lifetime.

1. History of the Late Father's Illness

"(His illness) was asthma, he was old. It's been a long time," said Mpok Alpa when met at the funeral home located in Ciganjur, South Jakarta, on Thursday (3/6).

It didn't stop there, she continued, "He had a history of illness for a long time, he's an old person after all, getting better and then getting sick again. Since the beginning, I went viral because he was already sick, it's a disease, so he received medical treatment."

2. Regret of Mpok Alpa

Furthermore, Mpok Alpa also expressed her regret before Niman passed away. She admitted that she didn't have the chance to say goodbye when she had to leave for out of town.

"What I regret is when I was about to leave for Malang, I didn't have the chance to ask for permission from baba. Usually, I ask for permission, even for work, I ask for permission and give my respects to baba. But this time, it was already late at night, he was already asleep, I was afraid to disturb him. At first, I felt uncomfortable, he didn't give permission for me to leave, but he is also a foster parent there, that's what I regret," she said while crying.
