The hospital treating Tukul has issued a statement regarding the circulating rumors.
Kapanlagi.com - Comedian and presenter Tukul Arwana was rushed to the National Brain Center Hospital, East Jakarta on Wednesday (22/9/2021) due to brain bleeding.According to Tukul's family, Rizky Kimon said that before being taken to the hospital, the 57-year-old comedian was still carrying out his activities as usual.
"So on the 22nd in the morning, coincidentally we were relaxing and I happened to have no schedule for Mr. Tukul to not take any jobs, he was doing his usual activities. So, in the morning, we made a video for YouTube, and then in the morning and afternoon, he was doing his normal activities, and in the evening, he was joking around with Mr. Didit and Mr. Toro," said Rizky Kimon at RS PON, Friday (24/9/2021).
However, around 6:00 PM, Rizky Kimon noticed that Tukul Arwana's condition was different than usual. Seeing this, he immediately took Tukul Arwana to Brawijaya Hospital in South Jakarta.
"Then suddenly at 6 PM, there was not a complaint, but his son noticed that something was different, so we took him to Brawijaya Hospital," he said.
However, after being treated by doctors at Brawijaya Hospital, Tukul Arwana was asked to be taken to RS PON East Jakarta.
"After that, the doctor on duty at Brawijaya IGD suggested moving him to RS PON. So, we came here, and here we received a more detailed explanation from the doctor, and finally, the operation was performed. Like that," Rizky Kimon continued.
Rizky Kimon said, when taken to the hospital, Tukul Arwana's condition appeared weak. Although still conscious, Tukul Arwana was unable to respond to others.
"Conscious but unresponsive. He is still conscious, still coughing like that, still conscious. Like choking, just weak. Like just feeling weak, sweating all over," he said.
"After that, my daughter and I immediately took him to Brawijaya Hospital. Thank God with quick action, the doctor said he could still be saved and could gradually recover quickly," he added.
Tukul Arwana is one of the artists who does not have a history of serious illness. Even if he is sick, Tukul Arwana only experiences common headaches.
"There are no obstacles at all, he was initially healthy. As long as I have been with him, there have been no (history of illness). It's normal to have headaches, just take headache medicine, stay healthy," Rizky Kimon concluded.
