Before Leaving Children and Husband to Perform Hajj, Syahnaz Admits to Giving Explanation to Her Children

Kapanlagi.com - Syahnaz Sadiqah departed to the Holy Land to perform the Hajj pilgrimage. She went to the Holy Land without her husband, Jeje Govinda, who stayed home to take care of their children.

The 30-year-old woman admitted that her twin children, Zayn and Zunaira, already knew that she would be gone for two weeks. She had informed them well in advance that she would be going for Hajj.

"I have been sounding it out to the children well in advance. When I went for Umrah before, I explained to them that I was going for Allah," said Syahnaz Sadiqah when met at Plaza Indonesia, Central Jakarta, not long ago.

"Now, I have already sounded it out that I am going and Zuney (Zunaira's nickname) will be staying with her father. So they already know," added Syahnaz.

1. Grateful to Depart for Hajj

Although she departed for the Holy Land without her beloved husband, Syahnaz feels grateful because she was given the opportunity to perform the hajj this year with her extended family.

"Certainly, as a family, we never stop expressing gratitude to Allah for being blessed," said Syahnaz.

2. Feeling Nervous Before Hajj

Syahnaz admits to feeling nervous before her departure to the Holy Land. However, she prays for a smooth execution of this fifth pillar of Islam.

"Because before leaving, I was really nervous. Afraid of this, afraid of that. But I just pray a lot, recite a lot of remembrance, hoping for a smooth journey," concluded Syahnaz.
