Before Passing Away, Jan Rompies, Vincent's Father, Undergoes Treatment at the Hospital for 3 Weeks

Kapanlagi.com - Sad news came from musicians Cliff and Vincent Rompies. Their father, Jan Rompies, passed away on Saturday (24/7/2021) at 01.50 WIB. According to Cliff, their beloved father passed away due to illness. Before taking his last breath, Jan Rompies underwent treatment at the hospital for three weeks.

"Yes, he was sick, after receiving treatment for three weeks. He passed away last night at 01.50 WIB. He passed away at the age of 75," said Cliff Rompies to reporters on Saturday (24/7/2021).

Jan Rompies' body was buried at Taman Pemakaman Umum (TPU) Pondok Ranggon, East Jakarta. As a son, Cliff Rompies has willingly let go of his father's departure. The guitarist of the band Club 80's also expressed his gratitude to those who have prayed for his beloved father.

"Thank you to the media friends who came, thank you for your prayers. Our father, Jan Rompies, has reached his final resting place, and his journey was smooth, and now we want to rest. Thank you all, forgive grandpa if there were any mistakes," said Cliff Rompies.

1. Vincent's Friends Attend

Several family members and close friends of Vincent and Cliff attended the funeral of Jan Rompies. They are Desta and his wife, Hesti Purwadinata and her husband, Enzy Storia, and Uncle Leo.

Condolences were also expressed by Desta, who is known as Vincent's friend. Desta, who had previously been left by his father, hopes that the two great figures in the life of the former Clubeighties band leader can be reunited in a good place in the presence of the Almighty.

"Goodbye Uncle @janrompies. Invite my dad to karaoke there, Uncle," said Deddy Mahendra Desta, the owner of the full name.
