The news about Mahalini converting after yesterday's mepamit event was confirmed by Sule's uncle, Deni Uwau. Deni said that Lini has received permission from her family and ancestors.
"Starting from Bali, let me tell you the story from the beginning, when Mahalini asked for permission to be taken by Aa Ikky and of course also asked for permission to change her belief, she had permission from her parents and so on," said Deni Uwaw when met in Tambun, Bekasi Regency, Wednesday (8/5/2024).
"Alhamdulillah, last time on the 5th in Bali, flew here on the 8th, now it's a religious gathering, in essence, it's a celebration for Kang Sule and his family, that inshaAllah they will carry out a series of wedding ceremonies," he added.
Deni Uwaw then said that Mahalini has officially embraced Islam after the Mapamit event in Bali. "What's clear is that Mahalini converted this month after the Mapamit yesterday," he said.
However, Deni refused to comment on the place where Mahalini recited the two sentences of the shahada. "Maybe I'll let you know later," he said.
Today, Wednesday (8/5/2024), Rizky Febian held a religious gathering at his parents' house in Tambun, Bekasi Regency. The event was only attended by Sule's family.
This religious gathering is held for the smoothness of Rizky Febian and Mahalini's wedding, which is planned to be held on Friday (10/5/2024).
"Aa (Rizky Febian) was present during the religious gathering, but Lini was not brought along because it is specifically for the groom," Deni concluded.
