"One day I was called by Mas Hanung for a film. This is my first film with Mas Hanung. How come, when he finally invited me, I became a ghost? But this is a challenge for me because it is told from life, death, and wandering. I find it difficult to portray it because I have never died before," said Wulan.

In the film TRINIL: BRING BACK MY BODY, Wulan Guritno did a lot of scenes as a floating head ghost. During filming, there were moments when only the head or body was wrapped in a blue screen.

"As a ghost, I play some parts directly. So I act with my body or head using a blue screen. If there are wandering heads everywhere, it's definitely not me, but they use animatronics," said Wulan.

To prepare for the floating head scene, Hanung Bramantyo created an animatronic in the shape of Wulan Guritno's head. The process began during pre-production, where Wulan's face was molded to be used for the animatronic.

"Mbak Wulan's role started during pre-production. Her face was molded, and then the robot head was made, adjusted to fit Mbak Wulan. At that time, I wanted to create a cinema classic without CGI. Indonesia can actually create animatronics, but the cost is as high as our main actors," said Hanung during the same occasion.

In the editing room, Hanung Bramantyo noticed that the use of animatronics was not optimal. Therefore, CGI was added to make it more appealing.

"When editing, it turns out we can't remove CGI. It must be there even though we try to make real animatronics. So there is still CGI assistance because the expectations of Gen Z viewers have been filled with Hollywood horror, if it's like a moving mask it will be like at Dufan," said Hanung. Can't wait to watch!
