Being a Suspect When Father Died, Ammar Zoni Regrets Not Being Able to Come to the Grave

As is known, Ammar's father, named Suhendri Zoni, passed away on Saturday (20/1) night at EMC Sentul Hospital, Bogor. The 58-year-old man's body was buried on Sunday (21/1) afternoon at TPU Kalimulya 1, Depok.

1. Ammar Zoni's Regret

Ammar Zoni deeply regrets not being allowed to attend Suhendri Zoni's funeral. However, the actor couldn't do much considering his status as a suspect.

"(Ammar) feels really regretful. But we pray that my father is accepted by Him, that his grave is made spacious. That's all I can think of," said Aditya Zoni after the funeral process.

2. Returning Home Two Hours

Although not allowed to attend the funeral, Ammar Zoni still followed the process through video call. Even last Saturday night, he briefly came to the house to see Suhendri Zoni for the last time and recited the Yasin.

"(He briefly returned) because it is the right of a detainee. There is a law that allows family members to come if there is a death, but only for a short time, just two hours. (When he returned) Bang Ammar just cried," said Aditya.
