Being a Thalassaemia Ambassador, Gersha Jagwani Remains Focused on Education

Kapanlagi.com - As a thalassaemia ambassador for millennials, Gersha Jagwani, who is the daughter of Adam Jagwani, visited the Regional General Hospital of Tangerang Regency. This time, Gersha was not alone because many artists also came to ask for knowledge about thalassaemia from Gersha.

"Yes, because many artist friends maybe so that they can share information more widely and they can also reach a larger audience. Well, on average, is it contagious or not, can it be cured or not," said Gersha Jagwani when met at RSUD Tangerang, Tangerang Regency, Wednesday (29/1).

The arrival of artist friends who care about thalassaemia patients certainly makes Gersha happy. She hopes that with the presence of many public figures, knowledge about thalassaemia can be socialized to the entire Indonesian society.

"It's very inspiring, many people are helping me. Hopefully, the message can spread widely, because they are famous and have many fans," she said.

Gersha is truly fulfilling her duties as a thalassemia ambassador. However, she remains focused on her education. Currently, Gersha is in the 11th grade at ACS International Jakarta.

Gersha also makes her parents proud by being one of the high-achieving students at her school. One of the factors that contributed to her current success is the important role played by her parents and teachers at her school.
