Besides the Collaborative Concert with Various Indonesian Musicians, the Opening of Rumah Digital Indonesia is Enlivened by National Conversations

Kapanlagi.com - A number of Indonesian artists participated in a collaborative concert at the opening event of Rumah Digital Indonesia (RDI) on Sunday, August 1, 2021. Some of the top Indonesian musicians who enlivened this collaborative concert include Nadin Amizah, Teddy Adhitya, Sivia, Idgitaf, Adrian Khalif, and Bilal Indrajaya.

Dressed in traditional Indonesian attire, they beautifully sang regional songs such as Meyong-meyong, Kicir-kicir, Manuk Dadali, and Jali-jali. Prior to this, President Joko Widodo delivered his speech at the opening of RDI.

Part of the Celebration of the 76th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia

RDI itself was launched by the government as part of the celebration of the 76th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia. That is why RDI was opened with a speech by President Joko Widodo.

President Jokowi stated that RDI is a platform to enliven independence amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. People can enjoy various interesting offerings, actively participate, and collaborate to help others through RDI.

"This is a digital space as a platform for participation and togetherness in celebrating the independence month," said President Jokowi.

Presenting an Engaging National Discussion

Afterwards, the opening event continued with a talkshow titled "Bincang Bangsa" (National Discussion) with the theme "Opening the Door of Inclusivity through Collaboration" on the National Stage of RDI.

The talkshow, hosted by Presidential Special Staff Putri Tanjung, featured content creators Jovial & Andovi da Lopez, model Monalisa Sembor, and Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno.

They discussed various aspects of inclusivity and collaboration, which can ignite creativity. Model Monalisa Sembor stated that inclusive education and open-mindedness need to be taught from an early age. By being open-minded, everyone can exchange ideas, collaborate, and create creativity.

"Inclusive education needs to be instilled from an early age so that in the future, children will have space, acquaintances, friends, and so on to exchange information. When everything is already there, information is already there, creativity will emerge by itself," said Monalisa.

In addition to the opening event, the national stage of RDI also presents various other national events in welcoming the independence month. These national events include the Zikir and Doa Kebangsaan 76 Tahun Indonesia Merdeka (National Prayer and Chanting Event in Commemoration of Indonesia's 76th Independence Day) held on Monday (1/08/2021) night.
