Bimbim Slank Reveals His Child's Premonition About Mother Iffet, Coming Through a Dream

Bunda Iffet was buried at TPU Karet Bivak, Central Jakarta, on Saturday (27/4/2025). The mother of Bimbim Slank was buried in the same grave as her husband, Sidharta M Soemarno. Bimbim recounted that the burial was in accordance with the long-held wishes expressed by the late Bunda Iffet.

The father of three children said that his mother had offered several options for her final resting place before it was ultimately decided that she would be buried alongside her husband.

"Her will before my father passed away was to have 3 burial options. I don’t want to be here, let’s go to Jeruk Purut, Sukabumi. But once my father passed away, I was okay with that, because we wanted to be together. That’s why we were buried together with dad," said Bimbim at TPU Karet Bivak, Central Jakarta, on Sunday (27/4/2025).

Not only about the funeral, Bimbim also shared a story about the premonition that arose before Bunda Iffet passed away. According to him, the premonition was actually experienced by his daughter, Mezzaluna, through a dream.

"The premonition seemed to be my child Mezzaluna; two weeks or a month before she passed away, she dreamed that her dad came, asking to switch and wanted to enter her mother's room. So Mezzaluna said just to the door, okay? 'Oh, just to the door', that's all. Nothing else," Bimbim revealed.

Bimbim also revealed the chronology of Bunda Iffet's declining health before she ultimately passed away. He recounted that the initial symptoms appeared when Bunda Iffet did not wake up from her sleep on Monday morning.

"Yes, mother passed away last night at 10:42 PM WIB. After Monday morning, Tina slept and didn't wake up. Usually, by 8-9 AM she would be in a wheelchair going next door to sunbathe, but this time she didn’t wake up," he said.

Feeling worried, the family immediately took Mother Iffet to the hospital for medical attention. Although she briefly regained consciousness and joked with the family, her condition remained under close observation by the doctors.

"Aren't we afraid that we will eventually take her to the hospital, and the next day she wakes up babbling, telling stories, everyone is called, laughing. The hospital doctor evaluates why," continued Bimbim.

Mother Iffet's condition was stable for the first few days in the hospital. However, by the sixth day, her health drastically declined, requiring her to be moved to the HCU.

"Actually, on the second day there was nothing, but by the sixth day, she had to enter the HCU. Two days prior, she had also asked to go home. Finally, we discussed it and decided to let her go home. And according to the doctor," said Bimbim.
