Bimbim Slank Invites Family to Vote in the 2024 Regional Election, This is His Hope for Jakarta

Musician Bimbim Slank shows his concern for the future of Jakarta by exercising his voting rights in the 2024 Regional Election. He, along with his wife, Reny Setiawati, and their two daughters, Mezzaluna and Talula, visited polling station 016 located in the Duren Tiga area, South Jakarta, not far from their home.  

The presence of Bimbim's family at the polling station was a special moment, especially for Talula. Their second daughter participated in the Jakarta regional election for the first time.

"Today it's the four of us. What makes me happy is Talula, my daughter, can vote for the first time in the Regional Election," said Bimbim in the Kalibata area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (27/11/2024).

Furthermore, Bimbim mentioned that their family's choices are likely the same. "It seems like our choices are all the same, hopefully they are," he said.

Not only voting, this family also has high hopes for the next elected leader of Jakarta. Mezzaluna, for example, wants the air pollution issue to be resolved quickly. "I hope Jakarta is no longer polluted, because I keep sneezing," said Mezzaluna.

Meanwhile, Talula hopes the new leader will be more caring towards the underprivileged. "I just want it to be more pro-people," Talula said briefly.

Bimbim expressed his desire to see Jakarta free from traffic jams, which has been a major issue. This is a problem in Jakarta that has yet to be solved until now.
