In an interview with Kalina Ocktaranny on Vika Entertainment channel, Maia Estianty made a surprising confession. Maia revealed the reasons why she and Irwan do not have children until now.

It is mentioned that this is due to age factor. In addition, Maia mentioned trauma related to Irwan.

"Not because he doesn't want to have children, because now he's old, almost 60 years old. He had a trauma when his father left when he was 8 years old," said Maia Estianty.

Irwan himself indeed mentioned that he is reluctant to have children because he is no longer young.

"So he always says that there's no need to have children. Later, if I have a child at the age of 60, how many years will this child live with me? I don't want to leave sadness for my child. I leave him at a young age. Let's just be happy," said Maia.

Although reluctant to have children, Maia said that her husband is a person who loves children very much.

"He is fair. He treats my child the same way he treats his nieces and nephews," she continued.

Because of his concern for children, it is known that Irwan has established Early Childhood Education (PAUD) in 200 cities in Indonesia.
