Born as a Muslim, Ari Wibowo Reveals Surprising Fact Behind Religious Conversion

"One more funny thing, we also have a story there, in Konstanz (Germany). So, when I was born, I followed my father's religion (Islam), and then when I was in Germany, I actually went to church. Even though I'm non-Christian, I entered the church and that's where God introduced Himself to me for the first time. Isn't it crazy?" Daniel admitted to being confused and speechless with the experience that Ari shared. How could a 10-year-old child have such a profound spiritual experience?

"I don't understand either. The problem is, no one told me what all of this means. Why? My dad is Muslim, my mom is Christian, and my ID card is like most other Germans. So, in reality, it's an experience that I can only feel myself and I can't share or get answers from anyone, so it just disappears," Ari continued.

"Germany, as we know, is a very free country. Religion is never mentioned, on ID cards or anywhere else, because it is a personal right. It's okay to believe or not believe, you won't be considered an atheist or anything. It's fine," added the 50-year-old man.

2. Receiving Whispers from Mysterious Voices

Furthermore, the soap opera star Tersanjung elaborated in detail about his spiritual experience. The story goes that Ari's school was organizing a religious event at a church. And it was during that time that something amazing happened.

"So, at that time, there was a school activity at the church. I don't know why I joined. When we arrived at the church, everyone was in front, and I was at the back, the last row. This is a Catholic church. Suddenly, everyone moved forward for communion, and I didn't understand what communion was. But I saw that they were going to distribute wafers. So, I joined the queue at the front. In Catholicism, actually, it's not allowed. I don't know why I went to the front, and the priest didn't ask either. I received wine and was told to drink it. I just followed along," Ari explained.

"And for some reason, there was a voice in my heart or mind, it said, 'Join in prostration, worship, follow'. So, I just followed. After finishing the prayer, I opened my eyes, and it felt like I saw the sky, it felt so peaceful and beautiful. And I felt that I was loved. That's the only thing I can describe, at the age of 9, not understanding anything, not understanding divinity. In essence, it turns out that God exists and He loves me," Ari concluded.
