Abdul Hamid, the voice actor of Mr. Ogah in the children's film Si Unyil which aired on national TV a few years ago, is reportedly ill. The news was confirmed directly by Mr. Ogah's wife, Yuyun Widayanti, when she was visited at their residence in Jati Asih, Bekasi, on Tuesday (5/25/2021).
"There is a blockage in the brain, usually if it's on the left side, it's on the left side, but in this case, it's on both sides (right and left). Whatever is asked, it doesn't make sense because it's not connected to his brain," said Yuyun in Jati Asih, Bekasi, on Tuesday (2/25/2021).
Due to a brain blockage, Pak Ogah lost his voice and even had difficulty communicating. Eventually, he was examined and referred for treatment, but Pak Ogah insisted on going home due to the cost.
"He wasn't examined, kept going back and forth to the hospital. There was a blockage in his brain, usually if it's on the left, it's on the left, but in this case, it's on both sides. Whatever was asked, it didn't make sense, his brain couldn't connect. His condition was like that, sometimes he would have a fever even though his voice was gone. As for eating, he only wanted to eat certain foods at home," said Yuyun.
"For two months, he only ate melon, lapis legit, and duck. Besides that, he would sometimes spray and throw things. He wanted to seek medical treatment but wanted to be instantly healed," Yuyun continued.
"Finally, the doctor said if he didn't want to be treated, they would make an agreement letter and give him medication, then after two days, he fainted. He was hospitalized for 10 days, but he didn't get better. He would often get angry and remove all the medical devices, saying 'this is not good, this is not good.' Then he went home before Eid and received treatment at home," Yuyun concluded.
