Building Chemistry with Mawar de Jongh, Krisjiana Even Makes Chicken Porridge

Although this is not the first time they have acted together, Krisjiana admitted that she had difficulty building chemistry with Mawar who is naturally introverted and hard to approach.

"So the first time we met was in 2015, in a TV movie together. But at that time Mawar was still young, only 14 years old, so we didn't talk much. Suddenly we met again in the same project, paired together, and it turns out that Mawar has grown up and become a bit difficult. Moreover, Mawar is quiet, introverted, and it's hard to have a casual conversation with her," said the husband of Siti Badriah when met in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta, on Thursday (21/9).

Moreover, both of them do have contrasting traits. As the more mature person, Krisjiana must make more effort to approach Mawar de Jongh.

"Because we are really different. I am very extroverted, Mawar is introverted, I am all over the place, Mawar is quiet. Mawar's character is like that, it won't change no matter what, so I have to find a way, how can I get close to Mawar," said Siti Badriah's husband.

Krisjiana was initially confused about how to get close to Mawar, but he finally found a way. He even willingly made chicken porridge for his co-star. It was because Mawar couldn't eat during filming due to wearing prosthetic makeup.

"Fun fact, it was really difficult to create chemistry between Greg and Irene at the beginning. Because Mawar is a very closed-off person. It's hard to get close to Mawar. Do you know how to get close? I made chicken porridge for her to eat with a straw. Because Mawar didn't eat all day. From there, we could finally talk, we could finally get close," he revealed.

Mawar also praised the taste of chicken porridge made by Krisjiana Baharudin, which she found to be very delicious. Not only she ate it, but at that time all the crew also tried it.

"The porridge is really delicious. So at that time, Kris cooked a lot of porridge. So it's not just me who enjoyed that five-star porridge. I think all the team who ate the chicken porridge at that time agreed that it was delicious," concluded Mawar.
