Bunga Zainal Opens Peace Opportunities with Friends Who Have Deceived Her, The Condition is to Want 6.2 Billion to be Returned in Full

Kapanlagi.com - The legal process related to the report of Bunga Zainal regarding allegations of fraud and embezzlement by her business partner is still ongoing at Polda Metro Jaya. However, Bunga is opening up opportunities for peace through a restorative justice mechanism, with certain conditions that must be met by the reported parties.

"Yes, if he pays, cash and carry without waiting, I’m fine to stop," said Bunga when met at Polda Metro Jaya on Thursday (17/10).

Bunga admitted that she does not want to resolve this matter based solely on promises, especially since the losses she suffered amount to Rp 6.2 billion.

Bunga explained that the value of the loss cannot be taken lightly. She wants certainty in compensation for the loss, not just empty promises without realization.

"That value is not small. If he only promises, I don’t want that," she asserted.

Before reporting this case to the authorities, Bunga admitted that she had given the reported party a chance to show good intentions. However, no concrete steps were taken. According to Bunga, the reported party had promised to hand over assets as compensation. However, that promise was never fulfilled.

"So previously I waited, but really there was nothing. Their promise to hand over assets or the time we had given, but it turned out there was none," she added.

2. Statement from Legal Counsel

Bunga's legal counsel, Ratnaningrum Djaroem, stated that the restorative justice efforts are still in the verbal stage and there has been no official statement from the reported party.

"The restorative justice efforts are still verbal, we have not received their official statement, we will see later," said Ratnaningrum.

As a reminder, this case began when Bunga was promised an investment by two parties with the initials CD and SFS, who are a married couple and also Bunga's friends. However, it turned out that the investment was merely a facade for fraud.

Bunga Zainal mentioned that she suffered losses of up to IDR 15 billion due to the fake investment. Currently, Bunga's report has officially been processed at the Metro Jaya Police with report number LP/B/4972/VIII/2024/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA
