Busy Taking Care of Children, Cherly and Ryn Former Cherrybelle Take Time to Nostalgize at Karaoke Place

Kapanlagi.com - Lately, the phenomenon of karaoke has resurfaced among Indonesian millennials, especially in Jakarta. This is also felt by two former members of Cherrybelle, Cherly and Ryn, who have now become mothers.

In the midst of busyness as a mother, Cherly and Ryn do not forget to seek entertainment when they are tired. Karaoke has become one of their current entertainments.

"We like to sing in the bathroom, but it feels like something is missing. Singing in a karaoke room with a microphone feels different. So we can express our frustrations as singers whose singing platform is not as good as before," said Cherly when met at the Grand Opening of Manekineko Family Karaoke Baywalk Pluit Mall recently.

"If we're currently stressed with work, we sometimes go karaoke. If in the past, when we were bored with vocal training, we would go karaoke," added Ryn.

1. Admitting Feeling Funny

It is not uncommon for Cherly and Ryn to sing songs belonging to Cherrybelle while karaokeing. Not only to reminisce about the past when they were in Cherrybelle, they also admit that sometimes they feel funny when they have to sing the songs they used to sing.

"It feels difficult to sing Cherrybelle songs just the two of us, usually there are nine of us. But it's just for fun, and earlier we fixed the wrong lyrics. It's fun because Manikeneko's royalties are safe for singers," said Cherly.

2. Feeling Lucky

Cherly and Ryn also feel lucky now that Manekineko Family Karaoke is available. Because, in one of their karaoke rooms, there is a children's play area. So, they can still karaoke while keeping an eye on their children playing.

"Yes, usually the playground is separate, but here it is combined with the karaoke room. So there is a playground behind the karaoke room," said Cherly.

"Yes, there are slides and toys, so for us who are already mothers and rarely karaoke, we can have fun here. The place is bright and clean, suitable for children," added Ryn.
