Now, after a two-year hiatus, IDP is once again enlivening the Indonesian music industry with a new appearance, namely wearing a hijab.

Not only in terms of appearance, but the 29-year-old singer will also release her latest single titled Kusambut Cintamu (I Welcome Your Love). It is a song that tells the story of someone who no longer believes in love because they have been hurt too many times.

"Actually, my song is not religious, it's just a regular pop song. I met an old friend, we talked and then I was introduced to a producer who quickly made a song for me. The process was very fast, we made a music video and released it a month ago," said Indah Dewi Pertiwi at Raja Uduk Ponianak, Tebet, South Jakarta, Friday (13/3/2020).

1. Telling About Love

IDP's latest single tells about love that was initially no longer believed, but it turns out it can be a remedy to heal the wounds in the heart.

"It's about, at first I didn't believe in love anymore. Oh, what is love, it just hurts but in the end, there is a new love that comes and it can change everything, my view of love and can heal my broken heart," IDP continued.

The song 'Kusambut Cintamu' was not written from personal experience. IDP admitted that the story of the song was taken from someone else's experience. "It's like that, the experience of many people, haha," she said.

2. Will Change Onstage Actions

Since deciding to wear a hijab, the woman born in Bogor will change her actions on stage. In addition, Indah Dewi Pertiwi is also more selective in choosing job offers.

"Yes, job offers are definitely (selected). We need to know what the theme is, where the event is. As for the songs, it's okay as long as they are upbeat, as long as I don't dance. I also often perform love songs, not just religious ones even though I dress modestly like this. It's not just about focusing on religious songs, like that," IDP said.

"I used to dance, sing, but now I can't dance anymore. At my age, which was 27 last year, I was productive and enjoyed dancing," IDP continued.

3. Open Fashion Business

In addition to a new single, IDP also tries to enter the fashion business world called Tajmil.

"Yes, Alhamdulillah, my new business and this has been my desire since last year and it has been realized two weeks ago, launching my brand called 'Tajmil' which means beautifying. Yes, inviting friends who have just converted like me and can appear covered but still elegant, beautiful, and can still look okay, " IDP concluded.
