Calling Nikita Mirzani a Police Informant, Elza Syarif's Accusations Are Unproven

Kapanlagi.com - Nikita Mirzani once again visited the South Jakarta Metro Police on Thursday (25/2/2021). Accompanied by her lawyer, Fachmi Bachmid, her visit was related to her being accused as an informant or police informant.

The mother of three children was seen wearing a black jacket and a mask covering her face. After spending approximately one hour inside the police office, Nikita said she would undergo further questioning.

"Today, Niki only signed the official report regarding a complaint where Nikita was accused as a police informant," said Fachmi at the South Jakarta Metro Police on Thursday (25/2).

Fachmi also stated that after this investigation, they fully entrusted it to the investigator. In essence, Nikita Mirzani is not like what Elza Syarif accused her of being a 'police informant' because according to Fachmi, Elza needs to prove her accusations, otherwise it falls into the category of spreading fake news.

"We ask her to prove that Nikita is a police informant. If she cannot prove it, then she has taken actions that are contrary to criminal law. We ask for legal proceedings and we ask for immediate follow-up," said Fahmi.

In addition, Nikita herself stated that she has signed the report. She also appreciates the work of the police and continues to patiently follow the applicable procedures.

"Well, this case has been going on for a year. The process was really long back then (angry), but now it's just normal. But Niki appreciates the South Jakarta Police for processing it, even though it took a while according to the standard operating procedure," said Nikita Mirzani.

It is known that Nikita Mirzani reported senior lawyer Elza Syarief to the Jakarta Metro Police on Monday (16/9/2019). At that time, Nikita Mirzani felt defamed by Elza, who called her a 'police informant'. The report by Nikita Mirzani was recorded with LP5892/IX/2019/PMJ/Dit.Reskrimsus. In the report, the police used Article 27 paragraph 3 Jo Article 45 paragraph 3 and/or Article 36 paragraph 2 jo Article 51 paragraph 2 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning ITE.
