Based on the police investigation, Rio admitted to relapsing in drug consumption. Moreover, this is the fifth time he has been arrested by the police for the same case.
"Sabu, methamphetamine, ecstasy, and then he used psychotropic alprazolam," said the Head of the Narcotics Unit of West Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Indrawienny Panjiyoga, Monday (29/4/2024).
"He (Rio Reifan) always says it was a mistake. Every drug suspect we arrest always claims like that," he said.
After being declared a suspect, Rio Reifan underwent a health examination. Indrawienny Panjiyoga revealed that the health test results showed that Rio is still positive for drug consumption.
"Because after we declare someone as a suspect, we have to detain them and conduct a health examination, and the urine test results are still positive," he concluded.
Rio Reifan has been involved in drug cases five times. First, he had a drug-related issue with the police in 2015. After completing his sentence, Rio Reifan was arrested again in 2017.
Then, in 2019, he was arrested by the police again for the same case. Not stopping there, Rio Reifan was once again arrested by the police for drug-related issues in 2021. And finally, he was arrested again by the police for the same case in 2024.
