The sad news of the passing of senior actor Epy Kusnandar on Wednesday (3/12/2025) shocked many. The deceased was reported to have passed away at the National Brain Center Hospital (PON), Cawang, Jakarta, after previously being unconscious.

Comedian Elly Sugigi, who also visited the funeral home in Ciganjur, South Jakarta, revealed the cause of death of the actor who played Kang Mus. According to Elly, Epy suffered a fatal fall that affected his health.

"Yes, earlier there was a story about his wife, she fell. When she fell, it was unclear how it happened. It was said she fell, and from that fall, there was a blood vessel at the back," he said at the funeral home in Ciganjur, South Jakarta, Wednesday (03/12/2025) night.

Elly explained that after the fall incident, Epy's vision was immediately disturbed. In fact, the deceased experienced difficulty walking before finally losing consciousness.

"Yes, she fell. Since she fell, immediately after that her vision blurred. She was just walking in a staggered manner yesterday," Elly added.

Based on medical examination results, a blood clot was found at the back of Epy's head. This condition is suspected to be the main cause of the actor's decreased consciousness until he ultimately passed away.

"So they said there was a black lump at the back when scanned. A blood clot," Elly explained, mimicking the family's explanation.

Elly also emphasized that the brain tumor disease that Epy suffered from a few years ago had actually been completely cured. However, fate had other plans with this unexpected fall incident."The one from before is already healed," she asserted.
