Celebrating Indonesia's 75th Independence Day Virtually, Raisa: The Feeling of Love for the Homeland is Stronger

Kapanlagi.com - The celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day is very different this year. This is because the independence day is celebrated in the midst of the corona virus pandemic. As a result, the commemoration ceremony of the Indonesian Independence Day is held virtually.
Although it cannot be held directly, this year's flag-lowering ceremony still went on with great enthusiasm. Several Indonesian musicians also enlivened the ceremony, which took place on Monday, August 17, 2020. Raisa is one of them.
1. Enhancing Nationalism
On that occasion, Raisa delivered a brief message to all Indonesian citizens. She hopes that this momentum can be the right time to enhance nationalism.
"What I want to convey is that I think now is the time for us to enhance our nationalism. Love for the homeland feels stronger because I feel that if we don't work together, if we don't love our own country, if we don't love each other, then who else will save us," said Raisa during the virtual flag-lowering ceremony.
2. Comply with Health Protocols

Raisa also invites the entire community to collaborate in complying with the applicable health protocols. She hopes that the ongoing pandemic will end soon.
"So let's collaborate in implementing health protocols so that this can end quickly. Let's also overcome all these difficulties together, keep creating, and not let these limitations break our spirit, and happy birthday Indonesia," she continued.
Not only Raisa, but several other local musicians also appeared to enliven the virtual flag-lowering ceremony. Some of them include RAN, Slank, and many more.
