Celebrating the 75th Indonesian Independence Day, Persija Collaborates with Pacific Bike to Hold an E-Sports Tournament for Football Enthusiasts

Kapanlagi.com - Amidst this pandemic, all activities are limited, including sports. Therefore, Persija Jakarta is holding the Pacific Persija E-Sport Road To IFeL tournament in August.

A total of 64 representatives from Jakmania will showcase their skills in playing Pro Evolution Soccer (PES). The event, titled Pacifik Persija Road to Indonesia Football e-League (IFeL), is supported by Pacific Bike, a bicycle manufacturer.

"Being involved in this big tournament is definitely an honor, especially with Persija, which is a major club in Indonesia. We hope to contribute to the development of E-Sports in Indonesia," said Silvana Soei, Director of Pacific Bike, when interviewed in Jakarta on Saturday (15/8).

1. Hoping to be Witnessed Directly by Jakmania

He hopes that all Jakmania fans can witness this tournament directly through the live streaming of Persija Jakarta's Official YouTube Channel. In addition, Azwan Karim, as the chairman of the organizing committee, said that the IFel event has been planned for a long time considering the current good development of E-Sports in Indonesia, and this IFel event also celebrates the 75th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, and aims to attract millennials, especially from Jakmania.

"Certainly, there will be exciting surprises from Pacific for the participants and Jakmania at the event. This will be interesting because cycling has become a new culture in Indonesian society today," said Azwan Karim

"This tournament is very timely, coinciding with the 75th Independence Day of Indonesia. I hope this tournament can be successful, hopefully through Persija Road to IFel, it can produce professional gamers from the Jakmania community," he concluded.
