Celebrity Police Holds Kak Seto Awards, an Appreciation for 51 Years of Dedication in the World of Children

Kapanlagi.com - Special appreciation is given to Seto Mulyadi who has dedicated himself to the world of children for 51 years and appreciation for 14 years of Kak Seto Homeschooling. As a form of appreciation, Celebrity Police held the Kak Seto Awards 2021 and the Celebrity Police Achievement Recorder (POLIS) Grand Finale Night.

In addition, the event held at Hotel Grandhika Iskandarsyah, South Jakarta, is also in support of the 100 Days Performance of the Indonesian National Police Chief, Police General Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Si.

The recipients of the awards are the Indonesian National Police Chief, the Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, the Minister of Social Affairs, the Minister of Communication and Information Technology, and the Minister of Home Affairs. In addition, there are also Indonesian National Police personnel who received appreciation at the Grand Finale Night held on Friday, April 16, 2021.

Celebrity Police Chief, Zandre Badak, said that this is not the first time he has collaborated with Kak Seto. Apart from the 50th Anniversary of Kak Seto's Dedication last year, he also often travels to various places to visit and appreciate the performance of the Chief of Police and Police Chiefs who are focused on advocating for children's rights. 

"Kak Seto, besides being a national figure for children, has a wealth of experience. So I deliberately invited him to various Celebrity Police events, not only as a working partner but also as my teacher in expanding knowledge about child protection," said Zandre in his speech, on Friday (16/4).

2. Want to Become a Police Officer

Meanwhile, Kak Seto shared his joys and sorrows before entering the world of children, as he once applied to become a police officer. However, because of his nearsightedness, he did not pass the AKABRI selection at that time.

"But because of my love for the police, until now I can still do somersaults, 80 push-ups, and run kilometers every day," said Kak Seto, who was greeted with applause.

The person whose real name is Seto Mulyadi also revealed that when he failed to become a police officer, but his brother passed the AKABRI selection, he decided to move to Jakarta without any relatives.

"I ran away, did various jobs, became a beggar, construction worker, and so on until I became the assistant of the late Mr. Kasur," he continued.

3. Children's Friend Police

Meanwhile, the Chief of Police, represented by the Head of the Public Information Division of the Indonesian National Police, Commissioner Pol. Sugeng Hadi Sutrisno, highly appreciates this event with the theme of Polri Presisi, in line with the program of the Chief of Police, Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

"Not long ago, the Chief of Police launched Polri TV and Radio as a manifestation of the Indonesian National Police's commitment to improving public services. I entrust Kak Seto and Bang Zandre to continue, may works and activities like this further realize a precise Indonesian National Police and be loved by the community," he said.

The purpose of this event is also to show appreciation for Kak Seto's dedication and the police's concern for the future of children.
