Tissa Biani Prepares Herself to Face Netizens' Attacks When Chosen to Play Fitri in the Series 'CINTA FITRI'

Kapanlagi.com - Young actress Tissa Biani was chosen to play the character Fitri in the series CINTA FITRI directed by Anggy Umbara. Although she was initially unsure if she was suitable to portray an iconic character in the history of the Indonesian soap opera industry, Tissa was convinced by Manoj Punjabi, the producer.

As known, Cinta Fitri is a popular soap opera that brought fame to its cast members Shireen Sungkar, Teuku Wisnu, Donita, and Dinda Kanya Dewi. This soap opera first aired 14 years ago and successfully aired a total of 1002 episodes during its seven seasons.

"At first, I thought: 'Can I portray a character who already has her own fans?'. After talking to Mr. Manoj and Mas Anggy, it turns out the process is exciting. They provided a lot of help and shared how the process would be," said Tissa when met by KapanLagi.com at MD Place, Setiabudi area, South Jakarta, Friday (16/4/2021).

1. Becoming a Target of Netizen Bullying

Finally, after accepting the mandate to portray the new version of Fitri, Tissa Biani revealed her readiness for the kind of attacks she may face from netizens on social media. The most important thing is that she has tried to give her best.

"I am sure that after it airs, there will be a risk of being compared to the old soap opera. I also thought that the character of Fitri now will become the target of bullying from fans of the soap opera Cinta Fitri if it doesn't resemble the previous one. But we will still give our best," said the girlfriend of Dul Jaelani.

2. Adapted to the Times

In addition to Tissa Biani, the CINTA FITRI series, which will soon start the shooting process, also stars Rizky Nazar as Farel, Josephine Firmstone as Moza, Omar Daniel as Aldo, and newcomer Gemi Nastiti as Kayla.

Producer Manoj Punjabi revealed that the story and characters presented in the soap opera version remain unchanged. However, the details will be adjusted to the development of the times.
